Our Quality Manual and associated standards and procedures govern all activities affecting the quality of products manufactured at Shear Metal Production ("SMP'). The Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and is offered as objective evidence of the company's ability to meet specific requirements.
SMP operates in a "build to print" mode using client prints and bills of material to prepare written quotations. When the subsequent order is placed, each first piece goes through a First Article process, and upon Client request, a First Article report will be submitted with the first article quantity shipment. All assemblies go through Final Inspection prior to release for shipment. All necessary work order documentation is maintained on file by SMP.
